last winter i had a puck come off the glass and hit me right in the eye. I thought i had broke my nose because of the blood and instant swelling. i got up and went to the room to straighten it out (been a few breaks) then when i forced my eye open i could not see any thing. complete black. had to go to emergency where none of the resident docs would touch me. had to wait for a specialist to come in which took 3 hours (it was 2am by now). luckily i had no rupture of the eyeball and i was blind in that eye for 5-6 days. my pupil still does not undialate properly so i have to have sunglasses at all times outside. i have to see the eye doctor every 4-6 weeks as an injury can increase the chances of glaucoma by alot. oh and all this happened the day after my wedding lol. so yeah i wear a visor now.
