I do not remember the number of OA players increasing during last NHL work stoppage. NHL may be reluctant to put too many in major junior since they can not get called up to NHL should league start back up. My best bet is that some OA players may get sent back to CCHL when players that would have been in AHL (who lost spots to guys that would have been in NHL) end up in major junior. I would expect more OA players than younger guys back in CCHL
