idk how we are going to win with this team but all i know is that if Bergy doesn't
get a big player for the 2 first lines, we are prob going to end up at the same spot
as last year.
i would try to trade these players immediately:
Bourque, Gionta, Eller, Kaberle...
for prospects or picks if i couldn't get any decent impact player..
give me your opinions on this..
First let me remind everyone that this lineup looks as good as any. The NHL is not this old league where the team finishing on top had all the good players. Teams are of relatively similar strength. The difference are the little things. I am not sure we would have missed the playoff last year if we would have kept Jacques Martin. But this is not what happened. I prefer this lineup to the one we had last year.

Markov = better PP and less of Weber/Diaz
A seasoned Emelin is replacing Gill
Bouillon is an upgrade over Weber
Kaberle is not worst then Spacek

We will likely start the season with
Markov, Emelin
Bouillon, Suban
Kaberle, Gorges
Diaz

IMO we will finish the season with:
Markov - Gorges
Emelin - Suban
Tinordi - Diaz <----- I think Diaz will be a pleasant surprise
Bouillon

For the second line I think they will sacrifice one of Eller or Plekanec during the year. Prust, Leblanc, Moen might be where they are heading.

If they where to do a Eller + Bourque for Bobby Ryan it could help us ...
Pacs, DD, Cole
Ryan, Plek, Gionta
Prust, Leblanc, Moen
Armstrong, Noke, White
