Not even close. Casa Gelato has many flavours; I'll give them that. But they are a Jack of all trades and master or none. Their ice cream is hardly better than what you would find in a supermarket freezer, does not possess the inherent creaminess and texture of proper gelato.
I have not been to Bella but I have heard great things, so I cannot say how good they are. But Dolce Amore on Commercial Drive is definitely one of the best in the city and is on a whole other level when compared to Casa Gelato; while they do not have as many flavours, what they do have is always great and creamy like no other.
