The Blues were fourth in the league and second in the West. Oshie led them in points and was no small reason that they set a modern day defensive record. Dude is very good at hockey (better than Gagner for sure).

Gagner, unfortunately, doesn't compare well to other centers who score in his range, who tend to be considerably older and are on UFA contracts, or signed their deals before they hit a similar level of production. If you compare him with Dubinsky's 3.75 (even though Dubinsky is playing wing these days, he wasn't when he signed his contract) and Berglund's sweetheart 2.25, he'll get somewhere in the middle. I wouldn't be surprised by anything between 3 and 4.
