The Scandic Simonkenttä is good located and nice hotel. But like he said, its not that cheap. Other notables ar Scandic Marski (Same hotelchain), or sokos torni.

Then there are hotels like "omena hotelli" which is quit cheap and without reception etc. you get a text message with a door code. So there are lots of possible places to stay it all depends on your budget.
