My heart goes out to the victims and the families of this act of violence.

Bad things happen every day. Why would I be fearful of this? It's not like people do this every day. We start getting fearful and we'll end up with metal detectors at movie theaters or even more attempts at increased gun control. Odds are far more likely I will die in a car accident than a random crazy at a theater.

This is a tragedy. It will make me more alert. But fearful? Never. There have been incidents of people shooting other in theaters, recently, for things like eating popcorn too loud. This makes me no more or less fearful then those tragedies. Crazy people exist in our society. This guy was a special kind of crazy.
