When the playoffs start, he ramps it up several notches. The guy has a bomb from the right point. And unlike some of our middleweights, when Shane hits you, you've been hit. I know I am prejudiced because I know and admire him and I would hate, hate to see him leave here because it probably means the team isn't far behind but you will get every cent of value for the money you spend on this player. If he couldn't earn it anymore, I am convinced he would walk away from the game.
Addendum -- Doan is a right wing (almost exclusively)
2nd Addendum -- he also takes a lot of defensive zone faceoffs. 55.9% this year
Has anyone actually raised this point?
And didn't Whitney play the point mostly, with Doan on the wall?
