I voted for Corrado. He impressed everyone in his first training camp with the Canucks, including management, as he got a contract right away. He followed it up with a very strong season in the OHL, which, at least statistically, was better than expected. His opportunity with the Wolves was very brief, but again he impressed. Nothing has been proven, obviously, but to me he's looking like a steal, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ranked much higher when we conduct this poll again next year.

If, during preseason, Corrado looks like he's already passed Sauve and Connauton on the depth chart, do the Canucks just send him back to junior anyway? Do they keep him for nine games and then send him back? Do they keep him, give him sheltered minutes in selected games, hope he's selected for the world juniors, and plan on his having developed enough to be making a regular contribution by the end of the year? I know, I'm getting way ahead of myself, but it's July. And Corrado shoots right.
