Once a player hits the pro's, it's pretty remarkable how some of them adapt to stay alive.
My first instinct is to say that Sgarbossa is probably a top 6 or "bust" guy. His greatest attributes are offensive ones and I don't ever see him getting strong enough, good enough defensively, and aggressive enough to be a player you'd want in your bottom six.
That said, he's a terrific skater and he's got a very low center of gravity, making him hard to stop once he gets going. If his offensive game doesn't translate as well as hoped, does he adapt and become a speedy, forechecker type? He'd have to add more aggression/physicality to his game, but he wouldn't be the first player to transform himself post OHL graduation. Adapt or die I guess is the saying that fits.
