Add Yogan.

McIlrath is closer to making the NHL than Miller.

He certainly has the body for it, and his skating is there or almost there as well. His first pass out of the zone is very solid and he can skate the puck out when needed. His positioning is getting progressively better and he doesn't get out of position just to make a hit.

An identical player who was 28 years old would be a #7 defenseman on some teams right now, but obviously you don't want to have your 20-year-old top-10 prospect sitting and watching.

If McIlrath continues to progress nicely, he could be in the NHL before the end of the season. Everyone said in 2010 that he will be a 4-5 year project. Well, they were almost definitely wrong because he's progressing faster than people originally expected.

And how could you not like a top-10 pick who's progressing better than expected?
