Like I said before...I think the trade was a necessity in requiring top line talent, but Nash has to hold his end of the deal up now. Not gonna be throwing a party until I see him consistently doing his thing out there. Always cautious when it comes to marquee players coming to the Rangers. Doesn't have a good track history.

I think for what we gave up, the deal is definitely good. It stings a bit because Arty and Dubi were homegrown guys here and they've grown on us. I wouldn't be surprised if they're both between 45-55 points in CBJ in this first year. The pick is going to be a late one and Erixon is a type of deal. Could go either way. I wish them luck. I wish Arty had taken the next step and improved and maybe he wouldn't have been packing his bags. Dubinsky was always a good trade chip.

Dubi and Cally were comparable in years past, but since then, Cally has easily taken the lead. Dubinsky dropped off, became less physical and less engaged. Cally became the captain and his numbers have been excellent recently. There are no inconsistencies with Cally. Who knows, if Cally had been playing like Dubi the past few years, maybe Cally would be in CBJ now and Dubi would be wearing the C. Dubi never matured.
