One thing that is almost universal among hockey fans -- they complain about stars not "showing up" often enough. There are VERY few players in the history of the game who gave a consistently superior performance night after night. It's just part of the game. Malkin, Crosby, Stamkos... hell, Mario Lemieux even received a lot of the same criticism.
