Ray taking sacks repeatedly for big losses because he refused to get rid of the ball on time was a huge problem last year. All I'm saying is, it's pleasant to not be screaming "get rid of it!!" every third play with Jyles under center.

Lets be clear, Tillman better be looking for a replacement for Jyles, because he hasn't been good enough. But I don't for a second think that this team would be any better off with Ray. 3-2 start isn't a disaster. Sucks that it should be 4-1 after absolutely giving a game away to Winnipeg last night, but I can live with 3-2.

The defense may not continue actually scoring points, but there's no reason to believe they can't keep up their current pace of only giving up about 15 per game, or close to it. I have never seen open field tackling this good in my life. If they maintain that pace, they'll still win more than they lose even with Jyles' poor play.
