Saku. No player in my generation compares to the emotion he induced. He made me proud to be a Habs fan through a long period of mediocrity.

Koivu stands among the Habs greats in terms of points and as a person it's hard to imagine a better captain in this day and age.

It's 100% between Koivu and Markov, anyone saying Theodore or Kovalev are not looking at the decade as a whole. Markov is probably the correct answer, I think you could say he was one of the better players in the league, but I wouldn't trade Koviu for any other Habs in the 2000s
