that's what struck me the whole time, the lack of top-end talent. we would forecheck and work the puck into the corners and maintain pressure for stretches but we didn't have anyone that could really dominate and finish a play. for the blues, however, anytime tkachuk or demitra were on the ice, they made thins happen.

overall, i think the team played okay. not super, but not terrible, either.

kuznetsov was brutal out there. i think he may have moved his feet at some point, but i can't be sure. he can play well, there's no doubt about that, and he has excellent size, but he seemed either slow or passive, and neither of those is acceptable, especially because i had his back in another thread. i was disappointed with him this time.
