well, you're not really underrated if you're generally considered to be one of the best goal scorers ever and gets chosen into the hall of fame on your first time being eligible without any complaints

as for the cups, hull was a great playoff performer but he also played on some great teams in dallas and detroit so he wasn't exactly out of help there, those teams were loaded with hall of fame talent, even st louis was a very good team with players like oates, shanahan, stevens and macinnis there [not at the same time though] so it wasn't like he carried hartford, winnipeg or florida anywhere, he appeared 19 times in the playoffs on very good to all time great teams and got his fair amount of chances, in comparison a player like pavel bure played on pretty average teams and appeared 5 times in the playoffs
