Cable is getting outrageous price wise. DirecTV runs $100 a month with 2 receivers, HD DVR, etc.
I would be interested in a company that would allow you to pay per channel
, and you only get those channels. Like Fox Sports Arizona, TNT, TBS, ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS would be sufficient for me. That is where all the sports are played, and I wouldn't miss any games that are on national television. That's my only concern with getting rid of cable.
I think the first company that did an a-la-cart cable service would be inundated with subscribers. Not sure if they could make money doing it, or else I'm sure someone would be doing it. I don't want 20 shopping channels or any of the "estrogen" channels. To they are just clutter.
