D'Amigo is a great two-way player who I think has a bright future as a 2nd/3rd line NHLer and PKer but I think he needs at least another year with the Marlies to get his offensive production up, something that has been lacking his entire time in the AHL. Hopefully he can build off of his Calder Cup run production. I could see him benefiting more than anyone else from the arrival of Keith Aucion.
Um... how exactly is a 20 year old a bust already?
He put up 0.60 ppg in his first year as a pro ... that's not bad for a power forward project ... I think he'll have a solid year in the AHL this year, and take a run at making the team in 2013/14 ... he's big, can skate, and has a decent offensive upside - I can see him becoming a very solid 3rd line winger for us in a couple of years.
