How are Easton Synergy EQ4 Skates?

I have the EQ5s. I tried on the EQ40s (the successor to the EQ4 I believe) and found them a little too restrictive in the ankle. I'm trying to work on strengthening my ankles and I found the EQ4s didn't force me to do so. I also didn't like the heel - there are pads that help lock your ankle in, and they were smaller on the EQ40s than the EQ5s.
Anyways, as others have said, try em on. The best skate on the market is the one that fits you the best.
