That's an incorrect assumption. The "USA" chant started after Don Waddell made his choice not to add Miller to line up. It was something we did to show appreciation even though he was left of the roster. It wasn't about Esche at all it was about Miller and the chant started after he made a big save.

You are right as a community Erie County is economically unstable. We welcome Flyers, Leafs Canadiens fans into our building and love good fun. What's your point?
