Calgary fans seem to be vastly overestimating Bouwmeester's value. If we were talking the Florida incarnation of Bouwmeester, this may not be the case; but we are not talking about that. We are speaking of the Calgary Bouwmeester, the one who has continually failed to live up to expectations, the one who supposedly made Phaneuf expendable but has failed utterly to fill the space left by the latter's departure. Bouwmeester is average defensively and, one could argue, below average offensively. His main virtues are that he's durable and that he can eat minutes while playing decent (read: DECENT) hockey.
This guy isn't even worth Filppula to Detroit, let alone Quincey and Filppula. Bad penalties aside, Quincey is possibly superior to Bouwmeester in his own end, and he's certainly superior to him in the offensive zone. He's not as durable and he can't play as many minutes, but those two qualities are all that Bouwmeester has on him.
No thanks on this trade. If Calgary fans think that Bouwmeester is so valuable, then they should certainly keep him. But they may want to question why they suddenly think so well of a guy they've been harshly criticizing for the past two seasons.

That rumor is from a certain completely unreliable source who is apparently so bad that his name is censored on these forums.
