We've all seen the team give away young prospects after a couple of years with the Habs only to see them develop into solid players elsewhere. Lapierre, D'Agostini, O'Byrne, S Kost, Grabovski comes to mind.
Weber is on a good contract and he provides the team with great depth. His numbers both in the OHL and the AHL were solid and are testament to his potential.
