CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $70,200,000; CAP PAYROLL: $62,880,500; BONUSES: $3,162,500
CAP SPACE (20-man roster): $7,319,500

Extra's: Morgan Ellis, Ryan White, Sebastian Collberg, Brenden Gallagher

- Scott Gomez is dumped in the minors. (or bought out with amnesty clause)
- Rene Bourque is traded for pick in 2013
- Brian Gionta is traded for pick in 2013
- Lars Eller and Raphael Diaz and Yannick Weber are traded for Evander Kane.
- Shane Doan is signed for a 7 year deal with annual sallary's of 7,7,6,5,4,1,1.
- Ryan getzlaf is signed during next years free agent frenzy.

There's still a few fill in the blanks. Pacioretty and Desharnais would need to be signed to substantial raises, and I have Ryan getzlaf's current salary not the one he would be getting from us. But I think if Louis leblanc emerges into the defensive player i think he's going to be than, we can part ways with Tomas Plekanec. Also, when the time comes that cole can no longer be a top six forward collberg and gallager will be ready to step in. We have 7.3 mill to work with, but i'm also assuming that the cap ceiling will be higher than as well.
