I think it takes a year to 18 months for it to fully heal, but since skating isn't running I wasn't sure about a hockey players rehab. Apparently its much quicker than the rehab of athletes from other sports. Still long, but that's pretty much a season ending injury in any other sport when it's this close to preseason.
