I'm telling you guys... I've seen a lot of games, and I've talked to the Oiler faithful, and... Not only is he not that good of a defenseman, ut he's not as loved as people think he is. Now, I'm a Bruins fan, and I can recegnize that Brewer is a pretty good d-man, pretty damn good. But not great. Neither is Comrie for that matter. I'd much rather have Bergeron as my 2nd line center. He may not be as naturally skilled as Comrie, but he's smarter, and he will eventually be bigger. I think Boston trading with Edmonton now would be a big mistake. Bruins fans shouldn't want to trade for the sake of trading. We've got a damn good team right now,a nd there's not too much I would change about it. We could maybe use another winger, but Lapointe isn't playing
Our team is going far this year, my fellow fans! Mark my words.
Wasnt Brewer scratched for a game this year? He sounds a lot like Nick Boynton's situation here in Boston.
