Edit: Also, a hearty LOL @ "Callahan is better defensively" despite his totally awesome -8 on a team that finished +39 in GD.
But the above is not a reason. One great playoff run doesn't make you an elite player. Otherwise Krejci > Richards because Krejci was amazing in Boston's run to the cup. What they've done over their career and in the past couple years matters.
And Callahan is pretty good defensively, regardless of his +/-.
If Callahan repeats last year and Brown doesn't get better than this past regular season, the answer will change.
