well, that kind of takes us back to my post: his centerness is inversely linked to his offensive ability.

at some point, a smart coach like mcstache will say "why are we wasting this offensive talent on so many defensive minutes/with such low-skilled players?"

if mika's offensive ability grows to that point, he either has to knock one of the incumbents (spezza/turris right now) out of their spot, or he has to move to wing (which i see as far more likely for him than for spezza or turris).


we reached that point with havlat too, and the answer at that time was that we wernt going to pay him what he wanted (and was worth) to be a third liner.
