Hes the type of player that has to be sheltered. aka he needs a big, good defensive player or two on his line, with a playmaking center.
If in the right situation, he could score over 20 goals. He was on pace for more than that the year we were huge sellers at the deadline with Spezza as his center.
You should also youtube him. He had a sick goal that was like top 3 play of the year if I remember correctly on Hal Gill. He has a couple other good ones as well

There's a vacant spot on the top 6, but judging by last years line assembly, it would be on a Kovalchuk line, with Elias leading a 2nd line to go against other teams top lines - so Butler wouldnt fit in there on a long term basis. Not sure how to justify a guy who
could score 20 goals with top line minutes anyway.
I think he'd be slotted to fill in alongside Josefson-Clarkson if he makes the team. Maybe spot starts in the top 6 for injuries.
