While it might be counterproductive to boo Ozolinsh, it is not nearly as counterproductive as putting him on the ice. He's been terrible. I do not place all the blame on him, however, because the Rangers as a whole have not been producing, and that's not completely his fault. Ozolinsh is the scapegoat, because his mistakes have been more glaring. Everyone else's mistakes have been subtle for the most part, which add up to an under-peforming team.
I would say that while booing Ozolinsh isn't 'disgusting', it might not be as effective as booing the entire team.
