Prust is a very nice 4th liner. I don't like his price point, but whatever.

The biggest thing is the Habs went from having a forward group with good depth offense to no depth offense. The forwards when healthy during the first 20 games was good enough to make up for a brutal 2nd pairing on even strength last year. This forward group even without injuries probably can't do that.

The good players (Plekanec, Cole, Gionta, Pacioretty etc.) in the forward group are good enough to lead a team with really good depth to the playoffs. I don't think they're good enough to do that with a team with mediocre to poor depth

I think Martin was a better coach than Therrien will be too, but I have an open mind there, Therrien could be good, I'm fairly confident he'd be better than Cunneyworth. But the coach probably won't matter as much as the talent will.
