IMO, this particular situation is no different than what happened with the Devils before Game 1 last Saturday. Ticketmaster was sold out and then the night before the game some additional tickets were released and Ticketmaster had tic again. As noted there are a variety of reasons that tickets become available closer to game time; team does not use their allotment, team holds back some seats to try to sell playoff packages, people buy more than their allotment, etc.
