As of right now...there is zero saying Dougie cannot play in the AHL, if no CBA was agreed upon before the season starts, there would still be nothing saying Dougie can't play in the AHL.

There is a chance, but from what I read it's very slim. The CBA and the NHl agreements are tied together, but not the same thing. From what i read the CHL expects the NHL to honor its agreement in the case of a lockout.
