I would plan on their not being any hockey.
That way when the delay to start the season happens you are expecting it
and when the season is perhaps cancelled you are also expecting it
If they somehow reach a deal (which I doubt at present) then you can have the happy feeling of surprise at seeing NHL hockey in October
otherwise there is plenty of exciting hockey in OHL,WHL, AHL, KHL, NCAA etc
