Eberle plays some of the softest minutes in the NHL and still had a negative raw Corsi. He was the beneficiary of an unsustainable 19% personal shooting and 13% on-ice shooting. Plus Hall is much faster and much better defensively and Eberle couldn't even gain the zone when Hall was out for injury. Hall is so much better than Eberle, I don't care what Eberle did in juniors.
I agree, but I wouldn't say 'he isn't any good' either. He'd be a great fit for this team right now for instance.

He's also very young, and while I suspect Hall will be better, Eberle has a lot of room to grow and improve his game. He's had a pretty solid start to his career so far.
