in Saskatoon the players play in their zones until about 15 or 16. Once graduating from Bantam, they'd move on to Midget. There are 2 triple A teams in saskatoon and about 12 or 13 more in the province. From there you have "Junior Hockey" Junior B which is mostly midget AA players (again about 12 teams in the province) including 2 or 3 in Saskatoon. Then you have Junior A (SJHL) which is players not good enough for the WHL and players who want to play NCAA. (WHL players aren't allowed to play NCAA because the NCAA believe the $60 a week the players get is them being "paid".) There are about 10 teams in the SJHL in Saskatchewan, none in Saskatoon. Then you have the Major Junior hockey. WHL. We have 1 team in Saskatoon and 4 others in Saskatchewan. While we don't have high school teams, there are lots of other teams to play for. Probably as much as teams in your world Kate.
