I just think the simplest way to dissect it is to consider who would "undo" the Kessel trade.
Not one single Boston Bruins fan, executive, scout, player, zamboni driver, etc etc etc would undo the trade if they had the choice.
I have no proof of this, but if Burke had the chance to "undo" it he would in an absolute heartbeat. Same goes for the majority of people in Toronto.
