I think management's hope is that, by years end, Hannan is our #7D. Hannan and Klein are two DFD, and neither one can really move the puck. Klein-Blum, however, would be a pairing of 1 OFD with one DFD, a guy who can move the puck and a defensive stalwart. That is, IMO, the master plan. Hannan is here in case Blum doesn't develop right, to hold down the fort in case he is ready, and in case of injuries. Eventually, i hope/expect...

Of those top 6, 5 are likely staying long-term. Gill, the only other one, I expect to be replaced by Ekholm. Hannan will eventaully turn into Bartly/COR/etc. In 3 years...
