Although I have to thank Felix Potvin for inspiring me to be a goalie. He was my dad's favorite player, so he became mine as well.
I remember we met him and he signed my dad's rookie card of him. Seemed like a really nice guy, Helped that I had a Potvin jersey on that I bought the day of the game.
They won 4-1 (November 28th, 2000) against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks that night if I remember correctly. But after that game was when I became a true fan of the Canucks and really started to follow them. And that was in 2000, I was 5 at the time.
And yes, Dan Cloutier did stay for a while, but he was still in that era. After Auld we got Luongo and that pretty much leads us to where we are today.
