Perreault scored several garbage goals on PP for us but still was brutal... The key on PP (not just on PP btw) is to move the puck quickly, the most movement you will create, better are your chances to be dangerous.. To do so, you have to have skilled players with the puck thats a secret for nobody... Perreault was a poor stickhandler, poor vision, amazingly slow and quite soft along the board.. He was always losing the puck or making the play die.. At time he was at the right place at the good moment and sniped it in the net but overall he sucked hard... So Ryder, while not as worst as Perreault with the puck, still lose it too easily and takes too many bad decisions... Why guys like Kovalev, Koivu, Plekanec looks good on PP? They are good stickhandlers, move quickly, distribute the puck well, protect it well, take good decisions.. They make the puck cycle effectively...
