This is Ribeiro's third playoff series. In 16 games he has 2 goals and 3 assists. Both of his goals game in a single game against Boston, so he's gone 15 games without a goal. In the Carolina series he has 1 even strength point in 5 games. Why should we expect anything different tonight, especially since the Hurricanes match their best defensive players against Kovalev?

I think Plekanec's line is more likely to produce. Not only that, but I think Ryder or Higgins (or even Bulis) has a better chance of scoring a goal tonight than Ribeiro.
When I said, I see the Ribs line come up big tonight, that doesn't imply that Ribeiro will score a goal. He could setup plays, Kovalev could and their 3rd linemate (Bulis or not..) could as well. I just see that line producing tonight. Even if on the PP. No point in debating it before the game, it's just a feeling.
