So, my computer monitor (reaching 4 years old in December) yesterday started to go all black on me for no apparent reason. It wasn't off, and if I looked real hard and close I could still barley see the screen and webpage I was on, but barely. If I turned my monitor off and back on, the screen would light up again but only for a second or two. If I left my monitor off for a little while, the screen would work for maybe ten or so minutes, and would once again shut off.

Anyone of you computer tech-guys know if this is a wire problem, or is my monitor just done?? Turning the brightness all the way down has seemingly given me more time, but it hasn't fixed the problem completely.
