The guy was 12 goals short of the absolute minimum we should expect of a guy who earned his bones, and extraordinary paycheck, on spectacular goal scoring feats. And he was a whopping 22 short of the league leader.

It is time for Ovechkin to decide he is willing to make the sacrifices it is going to take to be the best player in the world again. But if he decides he doesn't care to do that then he can be a top 5 -10 goal scorer in this league in his sleep and plenty around here will be satisfied.
