Don" get me wrong, Kopi may end up being the best of all time but as of today he is still becoming the two way player that will make him so.

Marcel wasn't a two way player really at all. He was a brilliant offencive player but he wasn't really anything special in his own end. Remember that the knock on DT when he was early in his career was that he was an all out offencive specialist but not so hot anywhere else. He became better and better as his career went along but he didn't start out as anything more than a hard nosed RW with an eye for the net.
I agree Apps and Kasper were very good 2 way players but that was before they became a King. As Kings they were not very good. Apps was on the tail end of his career and Kasper who played well on that initial Gretzky team but otherwise not much. I guess that 89 team he may have been the only forward back checking so have to give him credit for that.
