Edmonton would rather role the dice with what we have than pick up Sekera, Komisarek, Franson, or any of the other currently 5-6 D being offered to us for the prices being asked. If it was a legit upgrade certainly, but nobody is really offering those D-men this year.
What are you talking about??? Sekera is better than anyone Edmonton has for the upcoming season. When the young guys develop he could be surpassed. Describing him as a 5 - 6 D is clueless. You know you have one of the worst defensive groups in the league right?
