I wouldn't be enamored to moving the precious youth we have unless we were getting something significant (like a Gonchar, Hamrlik, etc) that would drastically improve our Cup chances.

I understand, and agree 100% with, your reluctance to move your young assets for anything other than significant players. Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe a healthy Mogilny, a rejuvenated Nolan (who is playing very well from what I can see) and the rest, augmented by a upper-tier dman who can log a lot of minutes (Hamrlik, Gonchar, Zhitnik), and the Leafs could very well make a long playoff run.
