Afterall, according to this morning's Herald "Murray Edwards and the other seven members of the Flames ownership group are worth billions." So money isn't an issue with the team, and the Flames supposely have good youth.

Just curious how a team with so much talent and such a great defense group like the Isles is playing so well the GM wants to dump these great guys? We've been told many times by their devoted followers they aren't doing a salary dump so no bargain basement deals.

Peca's reputation came playing with Hasek, maybe a deal to the Wings could restore his Selke candidate status. How about something like Kronwall or Hudler and Grigorenko?

Leafs should turn their attention to a top 3 defender, they aren't in need of forwards.
