Tampa will keep Richards. They might trade Marty for a quality starting goalie, but between the cap increase and some of the salary coming out they can afford to keep Brad. Of course, then they have to address their D and that's where it gets interesting.

I still say one of the big three forwards will not be back in Tampa Bay. If all three are expect a similar season from the bolts next year, squeak into the playoffs and an early playoff loss.

Teams should look at what happened to Tampa this year and what has been happening to Philadelphia for 10 years. You cannot win if you put all your money into your skaters and don't go get good goaltending.

Also like you said Tampa needs to improve on Defence. They can't let Kubina walk and they need to get one more good defenceman. Their defensive zone coverage was exposed vs ottawa. It would be unwise of them to not address this issue too.

You just can't spend 18+ million on three forwards and neglect the rest of your team.
