Again, has Troy Brouwer dramatically changed his game since he left from a year ago? No, he hasn't. I get Cap fans saying his physicallity is something they lacked/needed and they're fine with what he got - that's great - that still doesn't make arguements of overpayment coming from Hawk fans irrelevant simply because he changed teams.

Troy Brouwer is still Troy Brouwer. He's a decent third wheel on a scoring line that will get you 200 hits and 17-20 goals, while doing alot of the grunt work in the corners and around the net for the skilled players. Unlike alot of Hawk fans, I did/do see the value in his physical game but the truth is that he doesn't have a dynamic physical game like a Dustin Brown or Cal Clutterbuck or like Washington's latest 1st round pick Tom Wilson that would command the kind of money he received.
