Not really. We already used the money to add size and physicality on our back end in Souray and Allen. That was a need (moreso than Lubo's puckmoving), and that was addressed after the trade.
Sure, Lubo had a great year a year ago, but at his age, coming off a bad season after a serious injury, I don't think you can expect much more. Then there's the question of whether we'll even have a season, which probably holds many GMs back from making any kind of investment in players signed for just this one season, right now.
